Background Screening

5/6/2012

All criminal conviction records are available through county court houses or state repositories. WCH Service Bureau uses an extensive network of investigators nationally, who research the criminal records personally, thus ensuring accuracy and timeliness. It is this extensive network that enables us to satisfy the needs of national corporations that have multiple sites for criminal background check. After the criminal record search for criminal background check is completed, the court researcher updates the records and transmits the data to us. In the case if criminal background check determined a conviction WCH will record data listing criminal record search results information including County of Conviction, Docket Number, Indictment Number, Arrest Date and Reason for Arrest in a very clear and concise manner. WCH Service Bureau, Inc. has the ability to perform Criminal Conviction Searches at the County, State, and Federal Levels.

Social Security Trace:

WCH has the ability to verify social security numbers as well as to locate additional addresses as a part of healthcare background screening. The information also indicates irregularities including:

  • Numbers that have never been issued.
  • Numbers issued to deceased individuals.
  • Numbers with conflicting address information.

In the event that a trace should show no record of the applicant, WCH will call the Social Security Administration to verify the social security number and report the results back to your company.

Consumer Credit Report

WCH has the ability to obtain credit reports. Information regarding trade accounts, negative Accounts, collections and public records is included in each report.

Sex Offender Database Search

WCH Service Bureau has access to the sex offender database throughout U.S.

Why do we recommend performing a sexual offender database search as part of a background screening service in addition to a criminal conviction search:

  • State or county criminal records may be sealed
  • Records may reside in Family Court
  • The original sexual offense may have been dropped to a lesser charge

Sexual offender criminal records searches are statewide, encompassing all counties within the State. In the event that an individual moves, sexual offenders must register with their new state of residency. Many States will provide photos of the offender, ensuring accurate identification.
