Provider Relief Funds for Medicaid providers.
We are pleased to inform you that you can get help during these difficult times! Distribution of funds to Medicaid providers will supply relief to our superheroes without capes.
Here's some information:
On 06/09/2020, the Department of Health and Human Services announced a start of funds release of around $15 billion to eligible Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) providers. It means that providers who bill Medicaid may receive money on a loan-free basis!
How much would I receive?
The exact payment will depend on providers' reports of their annual patient revenue and will be at least 2% of reported gross revenue from patient care. An enhanced Provider Relief Fund Payment Portal that will allow eligible Medicaid/CHIP providers to report the above information is now available.
Applications must be sent until 07/20/2020!
Who can get the money?
Health professionals who participate in and billed for healthcare services (between 01/01/2018-05/31/2020) the state Medicaid/CHIP programs or Medicaid managed care plans and who have not yet received General Distribution funding may apply for the funds.
The list of providers includes but is not limited to pediatricians, obstetrician-gynecologists, opioid treatment, behavioral health providers, assisted living facilities, etc.
