Effective February 4, 2022, UnitedHealthcare will stop mailing appeal decision letters and paper-based explanations of payment (EOP)to healthcare providers in 15 states, including New York and New Jersey. UHC is encouraging its participating physicians and groups to utilize its provider portal. The registration process is quick and easy, and it is possible to obtain all the EOPs online as long as you have a One Healthcare ID. If you are unsure how to get detailed information on your payments from UHC - please contact your biller or account representative at WCH Service Bureau.
