MIPS is getting harder in 2021. Are You ready?

Our MIPS services optimize the MIPS score and assist in getting higher Medicare reimbursements.

The increasing penalties of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for MIPS are making it harder to achieve a high score.

In case MIPS eligible professional does not participate (or submits no data) under the MIPS program in 2021, Medicare is required to give a zero performance score with a negative payment adjustment of 9% in 2023 for Medicare payments.

To avoid a negative adjustment of 9% and get zero or positive adjustment, providers need to score at least 60 points by submitting data on MIPS in 2021 for the following categories:

  •         Quality
  •         Promoting Interoperability
  •         Improvement Activities

Data capturing must start as early as January 2021. Eligible professional have less than one month to get ready for MIPS 2021

Your MIPS score will influence your reputation, which can impact patient retention and revenues. To avoid penalty and achieve neutral/positive adjustment, you must meet the thresholds and the data completeness. WCH Service Bureau provides a wide range of services to help with MIPS submission and consulting and improve your score. Our years of profound experience provide you with the opportunity to take the next steps in value-based care.

Take a step towards conquering MIPS!
