Professionalism is Not Afraid of Obstacles

Professionalism is Not Afraid of Obstacles

WCH is always happy to share its success stories with you. This month, we want to feature a recent story about the journey of our pharmacy specialty customer.

The comfort and safety of clients are our top priorities, therefore we decided not to reveal the identity of the client. Through this story, we will call him Mr. A.

Considering New York's Medicaid Program with an October deadline, prescribers and pharmacies should be a part of the Medicaid program as fee-for-service providers. Of course, this caused some difficulties. It was never required before. That is why some pharmacies do not have enough time to switch from a non-billing to a billing provider.

Mr. A came to us seeking assistance. Realizing the complexity of the process, his decision was not to approach this matter with a vain attempt at paperwork. Our mission was to fix his status with Medicaid, and continue his work as a pharmacist so that he could fulfill prescriptions for all types of Medicaid-related plans. After consulting with our specialist, this collaboration has become one of trust.

Notwithstanding that Mr. A was totally unaware of what was required of him, he was ready to follow our professional advice.

Having gotten Medicaid approval for him, an unexpected issue with the time frame arose: updating the enrollment and verifying its compliance with Medicaid took a significant amount of time. However, we were not going to give up.

Our credentialing specialist Alina Khayrulllina used her professional communication skills and persistence to push the application into the process faster which allowed the completion of all the necessary checklists for Medicaid to be approved.

Alina had to tirelessly keep in touch with the Medicaid Agency and prove that Mr. A had an application compliant with all regulations and requirements that were submitted in a timely manner.

Fortunately, it required additional work as far as getting additional approval from Medicare was completed in time.

As for today, we are happy to say that we assisted Mr. A in the long road of things that needed to be done for consideration by Medicaid as a fee-for-service provider.

A great employee is like a four-leaf clover; hard to find and lucky to have. Alina was able to process this request through hard work and Credentialing professionalism.

These days Mr. A is delighted to have a team of professionals at WCH that found the key to success in his business with Medicaid. Thanks to Alina's assistance, he will get his status changed and continue the pharmacy business.

Never forget that one of the most effective keys to success is collaboration with professionals. The WCH Credentialing team can assist you with questions of any complexity.
