WCH i-Smart is getting Smarter.
i-Smart EHR introduces
comprehensive, productive,
easy and user-friendly
MIPS-dashboard.
Today the new MIPS-dashboard gives an opportunity to manage and track performance data on each MIPS (Merit Based Incentive Pay System) program category – Quality, Improvement activities and Advancing care information.
Many providers are lost in this huge flow of information regarding the MIPS program. Having a structured tool that shows real time performance score can greatly facilitate the process of participating in the program.
First, Eligible Professionals (EPs) must pick their pace – partial, which is any consecutive 90 days or test pace. Full year reporting option is only applicable for EPs who started collecting performance data from January 1st of 2017. EPs who want to report data for a partial year must start as of October 1st to meet the consecutive 90 days requirement. When the “Pace” is determined and measures are chosen under each performance category, the EP will be able to file and save data in i-Smart Certified EHR system and subsequently see the score as well as the minimum requirements that should be met under each category.
You can watch how the MIPS-dashboard works here.
We want to remind our clients that non-reporting on MIPS performance data will lead to 4% Medicare negative payment adjustment in 2019.
