The ongoing Russian military aggression against Ukraine has claimed about 4,000 civilian lives, with an exponentially increasing number of soldiers of both sides dying. Since February 24, many nations have done their best to help Ukraine win this war, or at least to minimize the casualties. However, help must not be offered only by governments, especially in times when many organizations are as influential and wealthy. WCH Service Bureau is proud to have joined thousands of companies across the globe in donating supplies to the most vulnerable. During the last three months, we have collected and shipped $350,000 worth of medical supplies to Ukraine. In the previous edition of WCH Insights, we posted a link to the video interview given by Olga Khabinskay, our Director of Operations. Shortly after we published the magazine, Integra Partners, our most respectful partner and one of the largest DME IPAs, shared our achievements to its network. We are extremely delighted that the essence of our mission is shared across the country. In addition, this organization has reported that it had raised $140,000 worth of medical supplies through its vast network of medical suppliers.
Let us all keep up the good work!
This May, our credentialing department has announced a new initiative to support Ukraine. Effective immediately, we will be allocating 20% of the service fee for our annual recredentialing service to cover medical supplies' shipment costs. Thanks to this initiative, we will be able to help both American healthcare providers and the people of Ukraine at the same time.
Our campaign is far from being over! We are still collecting the supplies, with new shipments on the way. If you are interested in donating medications or equipment to the Ukrainian people, please check what is currently needed here.
